So I went to Nordstorm looking to investigate on some Clinique's "3 step acne plan." I've been researching on this product online and there were plenty of positive reviews. So I went to Nordstorm since they had Clinique. I asked to try their acne plan, but they must have misunderstood. They showed me this other product but at that time, it seemed so similar to what i was looking for, so I tried it out.
She started off by wiping my entire face with wash cloth then added some of the cleanser/ wash soap onto my face. I felt like it was soft and seemed nice. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED. She applied the toner onto my face and wow, did it sting. It stung so bad that it felt like bee stings all over my face. She asked me how did it feel and I told her "stings a lot." She looked a bit confused and guilty and said "Yeah, uh, it's suppose to sting for a couple of minutes" (total lie). But I just went with it and she applied some acne moist to my face. After that I didn't feel too bad; maybe a bit of a sting. But it didn't bother me. So I asked for some samples and she made some. But once I got home to look at them, the container with face wash was completely empty. The only container filled with product was the toner. At that point I was just disappointed and mad. Even worse my face started to itch insanely. Later on that day, my face has swollen and became itchy all over. At that point i give two thumbs down to clinique. Plus when I slept, I kept waking up to the feeling of an itch.
I'll just say 6/29/14 was the worst day I have experienced. Even the next day my face hasn't been cured from the swollen face. Sigh. it's okay I can be patient.
Just felt like blogging my experiences with this day. Kind of couldn't hold it to myself.
